More lies from Obama

During a town hall meeting in Montana, President BO was asked by a man who told him he couldn't finance his health care plan without raising taxes. BO admitted that he couldn't add 46 million people for free. No shit. He said that he would finance two thirds of the plan by "eliminating waste and inefficiencies."

Come the fuck on! Does he really think we will swallow that line of kool-aid?
Why wouldn't the President eliminate waste and inefficiencies simply because they are waste and inefficiencies?
Can they only be eliminated because he wants to add another trillion dollars to our deficit?
No, he is trying to feed us bullshit and lies with is "feel good" talk. Nothing more.
Remember people, as the old proverb goes: The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Obama for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT AMNESTY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obama is truly trying to change the entire face of America. From the financial and banking industry, to the medical fields, to the automobile industry, he wants to make America a totally different place that the America we know today.
Here is a QUOTE from Obama on his latest world apology tour in Mexico, August 10, 2009:
“We can create a system in which you have strong border security, we have an orderly process for people to come in, but we're also giving an opportunity for those who are already in the United States to be able to achieve a pathway to citizenship so that they don't have to live in the shadows.”

Does this scare the shit out of you? "For those already in the United States"? That stupid cocksucker Obama forgot to mention that they are ILLEGALLY in the United States. Thats like saying the undocumented resident in your house (a burglar) will get a chance to become a resident of your house.
Why is our government so against closing our borders and looking out for America first?

Democrats are COWARDS!

With the recent unexpected chaos and turbulence at local town hall meetings, some Democratic politicians are ducking for cover. Some of them are having "phone-in" town hall meetings, or making one on one meetings with their constituents. The backlash from the people was totally unexpected by the Democrats. They thought that everybody was on board with the "hope and change" thing. Everyone but the Republican minority in the Congress and Senate. Well, they were wrong.
Looks like they have finally put enough straws on the camels back to break it. A stimulus bill that didn't do a damned thing. Only about 6% of the money has been spent so far, and unemployment is pushing 10%. Obama promised that if we did pass the stimulus bill, unemployment wouldn't go over 8%. He was wrong. Billions and billions wasted. More billions wasted on the auto industry, and what happened? Both auto companies who received bailout money STILL went into bankruptcy. Government was wrong. Banks getting TARP money. The economy is still a mess, and the stock market is proving this every day. Again, government was wrong.
The people are sick and tired of the Obama administration wasting trillions of dollars on policies and plans that don't work. Wasted money. The people are starting to wake up. Obama did one thing right, he energized the Democrats and the younger generation to get out and vote. Traditionally, the conservatives have been an apathetic bunch, not being too politically energetic. But this socialized medicine plan is too much. The general population is letting their voice be heard, and the Democrats don't like what they hear. So their response is to run from the opinions that the people are voicing. They are running from the people. Phone-in town hall meetings. One on one town hall meetings. These are NOT town hall meetings. They are cowardly acts.
The Dems claim that the Republicans are using organized tactics to simply disrupt government process. No, these are not organized attacks. They are simply an honest form of dissension that the people are allowed. Organized dissention, that's a page out of the Democratic playbook. But when thousands of people do it who are opposed to the Democratic policies, they cry foul. I call them cowards, all of them.

More thoughts on socialized health care.

Socialized health care is in the news. Let's call it what it is, it is not government health care, universal health care, it is socialized health care, plain and simple. You know, a rose by any other name is still a rose. Seems that Joe and Jane Six-Pack are getting pretty upset over it, and are letting politicians have it at local town hall meetings. You know the kind I am talking about, not the televised Obamathons where every person in attendance is hand picked beforehand and is given pre-scripted questions. Shills. Back to the local town hall meetings. The ordinary citizen is letting their elected officials know that they do not want a government run health care system. Period. Politicians are getting booed off stage, angry citizens are shouting and chanting them off stage, the people do not want any part of a government health care system. Take note, politicians, this is a powder keg next to your careers. Will you go against the will of the people, or will you do what those who have hired you want you to do? Remember, you work for us, not the other way around.
People are getting pretty tired of big government ramming thousand page bills through, which will cost us billions and billions of dollars. If Obama is so sure he can pass this socialized medicine bill through, and NOT RAISE THE DEFICIT ONE DOLLAR, why doesn't he start paying down our deficit using the same tactics first? Because he is lying about it, plain and simple.
Do you really think the government can administer a nationwide program? Remember last week, it was announced that the Postal Service will be closing over ONE THOUSAND post offices? How is that hope and change thing going to make you feel when the government announces the same cuts to a socialized health care system? What makes you think the government will have a successful run for socialized medicine when they can't even run the post office?

Cash for Clunkers - a massive government failure.

Lets look at this Cash for Clunkers program that the federal government has enacted:
1) Get up to $4500 for an older car that doesn't get good mileage.
2) The dealers have to destroy the car so it is no longer driveable.

Seems good on paper, like so much the federal government proposes.
The government is the majority owners of the GM and Chrysler, so they can subsidize the shit out of these companies, they dont care about profit or loss.
The plan ran out of money within ONE week. So now they are planning to throw a few MORE billion dollars into it.

Now, just switch the name of this particular plan with another government plan, say...... Government health care.
Get free government money. Older cars, I mean people, have to go. Sorry, grandma.
Whats that? They never imagined how much money it would cost? No problem, we'll just throw more money into it.
Am I the only one in the entire USA who sees these government plans as a huge waste of money?

Oh yes, back to Cash for Clunkers.
Joe Six-Pack decides he is going to take advantage of this wonderful government program. He has an older car, probably paid off, and paying 100 or less a month for insurance.
After this wonderful government program, he now has a car payment of at least 350 a month, and 200 in insurance. Lets take a look at that math- before, 100 a month. After, 550 a month. I hope all the Joe Six-Packs have an extra 450 a month in disposable income.
Stand by for part II in afew months, Repos for Clunkers.

Happy 40th anniversery!

This past weekend marked a few anniverseries of famous events in American history. Both of them are 40th anniverseries, in fact.
The first is the famous moon landing.
The second is the murder of Mary Jo Kopechne. You remember the stories, Ted Kennedy drove off the Chappaquiddick bridge, got himself out, and went home. Yeah, he did report the accident to the police. 8 hours later. Oh yeah, he forgot Mary Jo was inside the car. She never made it out.
8 hours is about enough time to go through a good drunk. Old Teddie was no doubt drunk as a skunk when he drove off the bridge, barely got himself out, let alone Mary Jo. He waited till he was sober before he called the police. All he ever got was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. It should have been murder, but money and political power can do strange things to the justice system.

Both sides against the middle

Two years ago, the only thing you heard in the media was illegal immigration. Now, you never hear of it unless some drunk illegal without a drivers license runs a red light and kills a busload of orphans. Next day, the story disappears. Why?
The Democrats say that Republicans are for open borders and work visas because they are in the pocket of big business, and big business wants cheap labor. Okay, I can buy into that.
Republicans say that Democrats want open borders and amnesty so they can boost their Democratic voter base. Yeah, that makes sense to me too.
Who is right and who is wrong? Yes.
My take on this situation, and we're not just talking about illegal immigrants, but most stuff that the DC politicians ram down our throats, is that both sides are in cahoots with each other and use party lines to divide and conquer. Ask any 10 people you know about illegal immigration. Hell, ask 100 or 1000. I am pretty sure you will get an overwhelming majority that will be for closing the borders and exporting our number one product, illegal immigrants. It's one of those "Duh!" topics. Like the answer is so damned obvious that its a wonder why DC never gets anything done about it.
So just why doesn't DC do anything about this subject? I am not a member of the tin foil hat brigade, I feel that the simple answer is usually the best, and conspiracies are pretty much only active in the minds of the paranoid wierdos. But there is more here that meets the eye. The politicians in Washington DC don't so anything about the illegal immigration problem because they don't want to do anything about it.
Why? For whatever reasons, they feel it is in their best interests to let this problem happen. And I mean "their best interests", not the country's interests. Politicians are worried about one thing: their next election. That's it. Once elected, they shuck and jive, use smoke and mirrors, and fuck the country. It's kind of like pro-wrestling. All work, never a shoot, and they "raise heat" to build the next payday/main event/election.
America needs to wake up and impose some term limits on these worthless bastards. The politicians will never vote for term limits, so we the people need to make this happen by never voting for the same candidate twice. After one or two election cycles, maybe the politicians will start paying closer attention to the people who hired them.

Government health care

President 0bama wants to make national health care quite the priority. He is using his typical scare tactics, saying that we must pass this now or else the sky will fall, the sun will burn out and all our puppies will die.
Who will pay for this 1.5 trillion dollar fiasco? Yeah, we all know who. Us.
Can anyone please answer any government program that is more efficient or costs less than any privately run program? I will give you the military, but only because private armies are illegal in the USA. Government has no competition there. Look at any, and I mean any, federal government program or office. The "rule books" they use is staggeringly huge. Take the tax code as an example. A relatively simple concept, every person and business pays taxes for the federal government, is over 9000 pages of regulations. Do we really think health care will be some easy to navigate process that will benefit us, or strangle us in red tape?
If this nationalized health care passes, the first patient to die will be the US taxpayer.

Some email wisdom: Obama outsourced

Washington, DC -- July 2nd, 2009

Congress today announced that the office of President of the United
States of America will be outsourced to India as of September 1, 2009.

The move is being made in order to save the President's $500,000 yearly
salary, and also a record $750 billion in deficit expenditures and
related overhead that his office has incurred during the last 3 months.

It is anticipated that $7 trillion can be saved to the end of the
President's term. "We believe this is a wise financial move. The cost
savings are huge," stated Congressman Thomas Reynolds (R-WA). "We cannot
remain competitive on the world stage with the current level of cash
outlay," Reynolds noted.

Obama was informed by email this morning of his termination.
Preparations for the job move have been underway for some time.

Gurvinder Singh, a tele-technician for Indus Teleservices, Mumbai India,
will assume the office of President as of September 1, 2009. Mr. Singh
was born in the United States while his Indian parents were vacationing
at Niagara Falls, NY, thus making him eligible for the position. He will
receive a salary of $320 (USD) a month, but no health coverage or other
benefits.

It is believed that Mr. Singh will be able to handle his job
responsibilities without a support staff. Due to the time difference
between the US and India, he will be working primarily at night.
"Working nights will allow me to keep my day job at the Dell Computer
call center," stated Mr. Singh in an exclusive interview.
"I am excited about this position. I always hoped I would be President."
A Congressional spokesperson noted that while Mr. Singh may not be
fully aware of all the issues involved in the office of President, this should
not be a problem as Obama had never been familiar with the issues either.

Mr. Singh will rely upon a script tree that will enable him to respond
effectively to most topics of concern. Using these canned responses, he
can address common concerns without having to understand the underlying
issue at all. "We know these scripting tools work," stated the
spokesperson. "Obama has used them successfully for years, with the result that some
people actually thought he knew what he was talking about."

Obama will receive health coverage, expenses, and salary until his final
day of employment. Following a two-week waiting period, he will be
eligible for $140 a week unemployment for 26 weeks. Unfortunately he
will not be eligible for Medicaid, as his unemployment benefits will
exceed the allowed limit.

Obama has been provided with the outplacement services of Manpower, Inc.
to help him write a resume and prepare for his upcoming job transition.
According to Manpower, Obama may have difficulties in securing a new
position due to a lack of any successful work experience during his
lifetime.

A greeter position at Wal-Mart was suggested due to Obama's extensive
experience at shaking hands, as well as his special smile.

Obama will keep innocent detainees

"WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration said Tuesday it could continue to imprison non-U.S. citizens indefinitely even if they have been acquitted of terrorism charges by a U.S. military commission.

Jeh Johnson, the Defense Department's chief lawyer, told the Senate Armed Services Committee that releasing a detainee who has been tried and found not guilty was a policy decision that officials would make based on their estimate of whether the prisoner posed a future threat." Fox News

Really? Where is the outrage from the liberals and leftist democrats that protested when Bush has this policy? Will the press slam 0bama incessantly for this policy? It is interesting to see if the President gets still yet another free pass from the liberal press for his policies.
For those who voted for 0bama, is this the change you voted for?

Colin Powell - hypocrite.

Retired General Colin Powell was interviewed by CNN and the interview will air on Sunday, July 5th. Powell elaborates how he is concerned with Obama's spending. He feels the government spending is out of control and we need to reverse what is happening. He feels Obama needs to take a hard look at the cost of all this spending.

Really? Powell was and still is, supposedly a Republican. He broke party ranks and endorsed Obama for president. Now, If you had read my works at all, you know I have no love for the party system, and anyone is free to endorse anyone he or she chooses. But didn't Powell realize Obama's spending plans back when he endorsed him? Obama never made a secret about how he wanted to increase government, spending and entitlements.
That's a main reason I did not vote for him. I believe in smaller government. Why did Powell endorse Obama then? If he truly felt as he said when he endorsed Obama, that the Republican party abandoned their ideals, then why endorse someone he KNEW would increase government if he never believed in that?

Happy Independence Day, America!

It's not "Happy July 4th". It's "Happy Independence Day".
July 4th is when the United States of America celebrates its hard won victory for independence, free from the tyrannical rule from Great Britain. Back then, we were a colony who got fed up with oppressive taxation without representation. Peaceful redress was ignored by the King of England, and our forefathers decided that they would have to declare their independence. We had to fight for it, on many battlefields, but we finally won and became captains of our own destiny.
How far we have come, yet how much we have returned to a people who are getting taxed without our leaders in Washington DC listening to the people.

Sarah Palin quits governorship

Sarah Palin announced today that she is leaving the post of Governor of Alaska. Interesting turn of events. Some will criticize her for quitting, saying she should have to "tough it out" in a mans world of politics. Sarah has commented that she is tired of the political blood sport. I don't blame her. Ever since she has reached the national spotlight by accepting John McCain's spot as VP candidate, she has been constantly and relentlessly attacked for the most minor of details. Anything to try to tarnish her credibility, because the liberal press is afraid of her. Afraid she will emerge as the GOP candidate for President in 2012. Her family has been attacked, her ethics, she has even been blamed for the GOP spending $150,000 on her wardrobe. She is sick of it. To her, her family comes first and she is to be commended and respected for it. She certainly does not play politics as usual, unlike others who make the same battle cry and do more of the same old dirty game. She means what she says and says what she means. Her breed is too far and few between, indeed.
What are her future plans? Will she retire from public service? Will she run for president? Only time will tell. The only thing certain for now is that she is a straight-shooter, she does not play the same old political game.
Whatever she chooses, I wish her and her family the best.

Should the fed gov't bailout California?

Looks like California is ready to issue IOU's instead of money. Barney Frank is one politician who advocates using TARP money to bailout the state. What do you think? I say hell NO! Months ago, I said the same thing about the auto companies. 70 billion, IIRC, went to GM and Chrysler. Guess what? BOTH of them are in bankruptcy court as I write this. That 70 billion was fucking WASTED by the government.
Why isn't the press making an issue out of this irresponsible government waste? The more they ignore this, the bolder government gets with OUR money. Its a crime, I tell you.

Get ready for 10% unemployment

Press Secretary Gibbs just said that they expect the unemployment rate to hit 10%. Wow. Thank 0bama for that 787 billion stimulus package. If the government didn't pass that bill, unemployment would be at least 52,000,000%! Isn't this proof positive that out of control deficit spending doesn't work? All it does is appease the pork monsters in Congress.
We were told that the stimulus bill would have immediate effects. Sure. Sure it would. We were also told that without the stimulus bill, the unemployment rate would cap at 8%. Maybe I should ask 0bama to come with me to Las Vegas, I am sure he can help me with his clairvoyant skills to count some cards or throw some lucky dice rolls. Hell, I'll even split my winnings with him.
I hope that people start realizing that bigger government is the problem, not the solution.

150 years for Bernie Madoff

Bernie Madoff got sentenced yesterday to 150 years in federal prison.

What's wrong with that?
How is it that a judge can sentence someone to 150 years but not life? No one in history has ever lived to be 150 years. When did common sense die? Does it make sense to send someone to prison for 150 years but not life?
Don't get me wrong, Madoff needs to be in prison for the rest of his life. His crimes hurt many many people, bilking people out of their life savings, and left them with nothing. He should never breathe free air again.
How can you sentence someone for more years than anyone has ever lived? Doesn't make sense to me.

Supresses EPA report on climate change.

Senator Inhofe has called for an investigation regarding a report from an EPA employee that was suppressed by the EPA itself. The report says there is doubt that carbon dioxide makes the temperature go up, in fact, his report shows that temperature is going down. He expressed doubts that carbon dioxide needs to be regulated. EPA analyst Alan Carlin published a report which goes against the current administrations theories and policies on climate change. His manager, Al McGartland, says the report was unsolicited. He was an economist, not a scientist. Really? What is Al Gore's profession? Is he a scientist? If that's the case, why did his manager McGartland allow him time, ON DUTY, to compile this report?
Maybe the administration doesn't want independent research to get in the way of their policies. Or the facts.

Slavery reparations again?

Slavery was abolished in the USA 144 years ago. Now there is a bill in the Senate apologizing for it.
Here's my take on it:
No one alive today had anything whatsoever to do with slavery. No one alive was a slave, or owned slaves. It was officially made illegal by the government. And it's not like the slave trade was conducted solely by America. The slaves were generally kidnapped by Arabs in Africa, and sold to white slave traders to bring to America, as well as OTHER countries.
Find me a culture, race, or country that has not had some sort of oppression levied against it in its history. Like it or not, mankind is a warlike race.

There is also some controversy from the members of the Congressional Black Caucus because the bill also has this disclaimer at the end: "Nothing in this resolution (A) authorizes or supports any claim against the United States or (B) serves as a settlement of any claim against the United States."

Why are they upset at this? Do they still want the option of suing the federal government? Well, let's not deny them that legal option. But first, you have to renounce your citizenship and return to the country of your ancestors. Why? Because by living here and enjoying life in these United States, you legitimize the fact that you are a citizen. You accept the fact that this is your country, no matter how your ancestors came here. Prove you are offended by slavery by putting your money where your mouth is. Show us that you truly believe the USA is so bad that you move from it, forever renouncing your citizenship. THEN you can sue.

VICTORY for the best-qualified firefighters!

The Supreme Court of the United States this morning reversed a reverse-discrimination lawsuit that was filed by firefighters from New Haven, Connecticut. The 19 white and one Hispanic firefighters filed the lawsuit because the city of New Haven threw out a promotional test due to no African American firefighters passing the test. They felt they would be sued if no black firefighters could get promoted off the test results. They guessed wrong.
ALL applicants, regardless of race, color or gender, received the SAME amount of time to study and the SAME study materials. Maybe everyone who failed should have studied harder? Why blame skin color? Isn't that basically saying "Blacks can't do as good as whites so they have to have special considerations?" That my friends and foes, is a direct insult to anyone who is black. I think the latest presidential election proves that affirmative action is an outdated and archaic law. Will there always be individual instances of racism and bigotry? Or course, people are people, but it goes both ways. Some whites hate blacks simply for being black, just as there are blacks who hate whites for the color of their skin.
Now, as second matter in this case, why would the city of New Haven intentionally deny promotions to the BEST QUALIFIED for the job? Aren't these going to be the same guys and girls who pull us out of burning buildings, when we cannot do it ourselves? Why wouldn't we want the best of the best in one of the hardest jobs out there?
Third, I hope lawmakers who will soon be voting on a new Supreme Court Justice will take note that Sotomayor affirmed the New Haven stance and through her ruling, legitimized reverse-discrimination. Again one of her rulings was overturned.

Climate change legislation

Honestly, is anyone really so fucking stupid to think that mankind controls the thermostat to the world? The Earth has been around, according to scientific research, for about 4 billion years. Life has been around for much less of a time, say a hundred million years. Remember that dinosaurs and the like were around 65 million years ago. By my very rough estimates, about 40 times less than the earths age.
What has happened in that time frame, WITHOUT the effects of humans?

Hot, humid, swamp covered world?
Lush vegetation?
Ice age?

How has these events happened without the man-made disasters were are being lied to about every day? HOW did the climate change without man to do it?

I can tell you this: 30 years ago, doom and gloom were being preached by "environmentalists" in the ecological disaster known as "global cooling". Fast forward to 2007, and Al Gore is telling us we have to stop "global warming". What happened in that 30 years? Seriously? How did we go from cooling to warming? Honestly, can anyone tell me please? Well, now Al Gore is telling us we have to combat "climate change". Hey, I thought "hope and change" were good things? Does anything every stay the same in the world, or universe?
One thing I learned in science class in high school that the only thing that never changes in the universe is "change" Stuff changes all the time, it's called entropy. It's how hot things get cool, frozen things melt, and radioactive elements decay. Get it? Well, think of the entire universe, and the earth and sun are a tiny speck in the vastness of space. What happens to stars? They gradually, over billions of years, cool down as their energy is given off into outer space. Same thing for the earth.

Now that we understand this lesson about entropy, do we realize that "climate change" is inevitable, and humans can pretty much do nothing about it? Mount Pinatubo erupted in 1991 and the gases, ash and chemicals emitted drove the worlds temperature down (temporarily) a half a degree. What can humans do about that?
Nothing.

No, Al Gore, the debate isn't over. You just refuse to talk about the facts that get in the way of your political agenda.

Why are there no 0bama jokes?

As long as I can remember, presidents have been the subject of jokes and skits in the media. Even Jimmy Carter was lampooned in a Saturday Night Live skit. Gerald Ford, Reagan, both Bushes, Clinton, all were constantly made fun of.
But it stopped with 0bama.
Why? Are they afraid of him? Afraid of being called racist? I find it hard to believe that all the comedians are all so enamored by him that they refuse to poke fun at him.

What is worth rioting for?

In Terhan, Iran, thousands of people are rioting because they are frustrated with what appears to be a heavily rigged election. So far, as of today, I have heard there is a death count of 7, with pro-Ahmenijhad troops firing into unarmed crowds. Who knows how many have been injured, arrested, beaten, torured.

In Los Angeles, California, fans riot in the streets to celebrate the Lakers winning.

These two places are on opposite ends of the Earth, literally and figuratively.

Follow up to Letterman

David Letterman has apologized to Sarah Palin's family, but he had to also give an explanation of his joke. How about just an apology, Dave? The public doesn't need a rationalization from you why you made those jokes, or an excuse from you. Just an apology. And your job, but CBS won't fire him. Imus lost his job, but Dave keeps his.

I was also wondering about what the National Organization of Women thought about this, so I went to their web page. Nothing on the front page, and after a bit of looking, there is an article slamming Letterman, in the Media Hall of Shame section. Kudos for them for mentioning it, but I felt that would be a front page article, not buried under a different title.

Corruption, Stimulus Bill style

Why was Gerald Walpin Fired? He was an Inspector General, and was investigating misuse of federal Stimulus Bill funding at AmeriCorps. One of the alleged violators is Kevin Johnson, former NBA player and a friend of Barack Hussein 0bama. Walpin was called by a White House aide and told him he basically had to resign within one hour or be terminated.
So what, you say? Politics as usual.
I say it's not.
According to the 2008 Inspectors General Reform Act, certain protections were given to the IG's so they could do their job without fear of political reprisals. IG's tend to step on toes every now and then as they merrily uncover corruption. Protections like a President must give Congress 20 days noice of his intent to remove an IG and/or reason why.
One of the sponsors of this bill was none other than then-Senator Barack Hussein obama. Now that he wants to protect some of his friends, he finds that's it's okay to violate a law that he himself has worked to pass (one of the few he did work on). Corruption? Looks like IG Gerald Walpin has uncovered some corruption, all right.

Everyone was wrong, huh Joe?

Source: Foxnews
Nothing on CNN
Nothing on MSNBC
Oh yeah, it's an Associated Press article, listed on the AP website.

Vice President Joe Biden said Sunday that "everyone guessed wrong" on the impact of the economic stimulus, but he defended the administration's spending designed to combat rising joblessness.

No Joe, everyone didn't guess wrong. Only those who endorsed the stimulus bill and voted for it guessed wrong. Fiscal conservatives with a backbone who didn't vote for it knew it was a giant waste of money. But you and your chief didn't want to hear any opposition to your spending spree.
And one other thing, you and your ilk are "guessing" on what will turn around this recession? Is that the best the 0bama administration can do? Guess?

The Stimulus Bill is all 0bama's. Only he can take the blame for it. Massive government spending does nothing but increase the deficit. Thanks for the debt, 0bama. Our kids and grandchildren will thank you for it as well.

English, the official racist language of the USA?

Here's an article form MSNBC.com -
It explains the fight of the Nashville, TN city council struggling with the concept of passing "English only" resolutions for all city government business. This is what one city councilman said: But City Council member Jerry Maynard called the proposal “mean-spirited,” adding, “It smells of racism.”
Really? Racist? Please explain how this is racist. This is one thing that pisses me off to no end. People cry "racism" with no backup, no facts to support the charge, just a simple, generic cry of "racism".
What about the millions of Americans, who aren't white males, that DO speak English? Are they racists, too? What of the millions of American citizens who immigrated to this country, and decided to learn English to let them assimilate better? Are they racists, too?
The cry of "racist" is all too often used as a mask to really say "hey, I dont agree with what you are saying, and have no logical argument to refute yours so I have to call you baseless names which make you look like a bad person".
Seriously, why would an English only government be a bad thing?

Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my blog. I like to keep up to date on current events, especially since the horrible turn our country took on the last Election Day. I am conservative by nature, but am not a registered Republican. I detest the two-party system; I feel the Democrats and Republicans put their party interests before that of America. There is much I would like to discuss in the coming days, please let me know how you feel, good or bad, right or wrong. I will not censor replies unless they are obvious spam.

Should CBS fire Dave Letterman?

I say YES!
David Letterman made some pretty nasty "jokes" about Sarah Palin and her daughter, who is 14.
Has he crossed the line? Were the jokes crude? Again, I say yes. Remember not too long ago the flak that Don Imus caught over the "nappy headed hoes" remark. He lost his job. Do I agree with it? No. But when the shoe is on the other foot, the liberal press ignores the remarks, trivializes them, or laughs about it and tells the Palin family to get over it.
Well, maybe they shouldn't get over it. Maybe Letterman needs to lose his job over his disgusting remarks. Is it really funny when you say that a 14 year old girl got knocked up by a baseball player? Or that the Governor of Alaska dresses like a slutty flight attendent?
I could even say that the remarks about Sarah Palin were within the realm of decency, but a 14 year old girl? Would it be funny if we cracked jokes about Lettermans family?

Chastity Bono wants to be a man

Strange times we live in. Here we have the daughter of Sonny and Cher, born a female, wants to be a man. Literally. Not just a butch or bull dyke, but a man. Apparently, she/he wants to have surgery to become a dude. What is wrong with people when they are so unhappy with who they are that they resort to surgery to change themselves?
Did God make a mistake? If you don't believe in God, did Nature make a mistake?
But that's not all - Bono's publicist asks that "We ask that the media respect Chaz's privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time."

Umm...yeah. Having your publicist say you want privacy is like saying "Hey, look at me!"

Now I know you are all probably asking what the heck to I care about some transgendered ....person..... and how they want to live their life, but seriously, why is it that the world has to change for an individual? Remake the world the way way you think it should be, right?

What do God and 0bama have in common?

Neither have a birth certificate.

What's the difference between God and 0bama?

God doesn't think he's 0bama.
